HC2S3 is a temperature and humidity probe produced by Campbell Scientific Inc. It is a highly accurate, robust, and durable temperature and relative humidity sensor suitable for long-term field observations.
HC2S3 uses advanced capacitive sensors to measure relative humidity. HC2S3 uses the same 41003-5 radiation shield as HMP45C, which can be easily interchanged. In addition, the sensor is equipped with a polyethylene filter to prevent dust and particles from entering, ensuring superior performance and reliability of the sensor measurement. After equipping the filter with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), although HC2S3 has a slight decrease in response time (≤ 30s), it can greatly improve environmental adaptability and can be used normally in high salt and high humidity environments such as the ocean.
